Southbridge....Kelly E. Thomas, 35, of Southbridge died suddenly on Friday after being stricken ill.
She is survived by her mother Connie (Conrad) Grzembski of Florida, (formerly of Southbridge) and her stepfather Richard Grzembski of Southbridge, 3 sisters Bridgette R. Thomas, Meagan L. Grzembski, Heather J. Grzembski, and her Godchild Nolan Bachand all of Southbridge. She also leaves her significant partner Jose "Joe" Cruz, aunts Hope Wilson of Southbridge, Ellen Lincourt of Worcester, Dorothy Chickering of Sturbridge and an uncle Ray Conrad of Delaware, and many cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Millicent "Memo" (Swan) Conrad who died in 1983.
She was born in Southbridge, and graduated from Southbridge High School in 1995. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Southbridge. Kelly enjoyed volleyball, crossword puzzles, playing pool, and was a member of the Southbridge Pool League. She was a bartender at Lynda's Bar in Southbridge, and also at the VFW Post 6055. She was also a licensed beautician.
The funeral will be Thursday Aug.13th, from Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy St. Southbridge with a church service at NOON at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church 446 Hamilton St. Southbridge. Burial will follow in OakRidge Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8PM.
