Charlton - Miriam L. (Watson) Cozzens, 88, of Charlton died, Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. She was the wife of the late Earl R. Cozzens who died in 1989.
She is survived by her children, George R. Cozzens and his wife Jennifer of Charlton, Cindy L. Cozzens of Auburn and David E. Cozzens and his wife Christie of Portland, OR; her sister Barbara Lacosse of Worcester; her three grandchildren Lee Cozzens, Melissa Plumley, and Brittany Cozzens; a forth grandchild Anthony Cozzens deceased 1968; two great grandchildren Nick and Ally Plumley and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Southbridge, and was the daughter of the late George and Genevieve (Riley) Watson.
Miriam grew up in Sturbridge and married Earl Cozzens, June 28, 1941. They moved to Charlton in 1959 with their three children.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid golf and Nascar fan; rarley missing a televised race or a game. Throughout her life Miriam loved spending time on the NH and Maine coast.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt who we will always remember with great love and appreciation.
