Dolores Quilan-Sanchez, also known as Evangelist Lolo Sanchez 94, resident of Springfield, MA went to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2020. He passed into Eternal Life from his home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. Lolo Sanchez was born on 09/20/1925 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico. He came to NYC, New York in his twenties to seek fame and fortune. His talents in entertainment cast him in a Spanish radio singing program where he was able to display an uncanny ability to write, compose, and sing new songs every evening. Outside of music, Lolo discovered other love of his life; God, his beautiful wife Laura Roman-Sanchez, and his seven children. These loves influenced his life so much that Lolo went on to become a pastor, evangelist, and a church planter. He left his mark on us all, sharing his, voice, thoughts and most of all love. He left this world richer. Predeceased by his three children, William Sanchez, Jeremiah Sanchez and loving daughter Felicita “Liza” Saenz. He leaves behind his loving wife, and soulmate Laura Roman-Sanchez, his sons, John Sanchez and wife Nilsa Sanchez, Dennis Sanchez, David Sanchez and daughter Miriam Azito and husband Benjamin Azito, his 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great- grandchildren and many great friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, followed by burial at Hillcrest Park Cemetery & Crematorium, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, Massachusetts.
