Springfield - Emerita Delgado, 72, passed away Monday, December 28th, 2020. Emerita was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, on June 22nd, 1948, to her parents Cecilio Delgado and Viviana Chaez. Emerita was predeceased by her parents, her Son: Antonio Delgado and Two Brothers: Rafael and Felipe Delgado. Emerita was very much loved and she will be missed. Emerita leaves to cherish her memories, her Husband: William Gonzalez, Four Sons: Benedicto Delgado, Jose Carrasquillo, Hericberto Gonzalez, and William Gonzalez, Six Daughters: Clarisa Vargas, Elizabeth Vargas, Bethzaida Delgado, Milagros Carrasquillo, Nilda Gonzalez and Elena Gonzalez, Two Sisters: Emilia Dones and Margarita Besarez, Sixteen Grandchildren, Seventeen Great Grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. A private gathering for immediate family will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021, at 11:00 am, at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, Massachusetts.
