– Grisel Rivera, 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14th, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Grisel was born in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico on November 20th, 1949, to Alejo Rivera and Hilda DeJesus. Grisel was predeceased by her parents. Grisel was very much loved by her family. Grisel leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Juan Martinez, 4 daughters: Grisel Nieves, Alexis Morales, Marisol Morales, and Hilda Martinez, 2 sons: Osvaldo Morales and Juan Martinez, 3 brothers: Rogelio, Samuel and Vicente Rivera, 4 sisters: Irma Colon, Beatriz Vazquez, Socoro and Maribel Rivera, 17 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren, and many family and friends. Visitation hours will be on Monday, January 20th, 2020, from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm and Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 9:00 am 10:00 am at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA 01109, followed by a burial at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA 01109.
