Anne Landry

Of West Yarmouth died peacefully Wednesday evening July 8, 2009, surrounded by her family at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was 64. Born on November 21, 1944 in Milton, beloved daughter of the late Paul R. Sexton and Frances (Conneely) Sexton, Anne was raised in Dedham and spent most her life in Waltham until retiring to West Yarmouth in 1994. She graduated from Dedham High School and furthered her education at Aquinas College in Newton. She was employed as a Medical Secretary at the Waltham Hospital for many years with the Medical Offices of Dr. Blake, Dr. Citron and Dr. Putnoi. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, and was a member of the Country Gardens Club of Hyannis, she was devoted to shopping and bargain hunting at Macy’s & Grover Cronin’s, but most of all she loved being with her family especially her grandchildren. Anne is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years Paul J. Landry, her loving children Michelle Landry Balian and her husband Jason of Northborough, Katherine F. Niemi and her husband Derek of Northborough, Waltham Firefighter Michael Paul Landry and his wife Jodi of Waltham, Paul E. Landry and his wife Maureen of Wilmington, and Gene G. Landry and his companion Dee Palleschi of Lynn, her dear siblings Paul R. Sexton of Dedham and Karen Giannangelo of Norwood, and her cherished grandchildren Kristopher Mark and Alexander Paul Landry, Michaela Kelly and Avery Kelly Landry, John Paul and Isabella Anne Niemi, and Hadley Conneely Balian, and her great granddaughter Emma Olivia Landry. In addition she is survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM (BrascoFuneralHome.com) on Monday morning July 13th at9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Anne’s Life at Saint Jude’s Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Sunday July 12th from 2-6 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Lahey Clinic, Philanthropy Dept., 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01805.
