Beverly L. Chiasson

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon July 13th, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at home after a brief illness at the age of 74. Born on November 5, 1936 in Waltham; daughter of the late Walter Purdy and Bernice (Turner) Purdy and step-daughter of the late James Salaway, Beverly was a lifelong Waltham resident. Beverly attended Waltham Schools and was employed as an Assembler with the Raytheon Corporation for close to 20 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. Her family was the single most important aspect of her life, she loved spending every minute with family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping and cleaning. Beloved wife of the late Paul Chiasson. She is survived by her devoted children Darlene Chiasson of Marlboro and James Chiasson of Sudbury, her dear siblings David Purdy of Quincy and Donna Martin of Newport, RI, her cherished grandchildren DeAnna, Camden, Jenna and Justin Chiasson and great grandchildren Jayden and Gianna. In addition she is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends. Sister of the late and the late Ruth Ayvazian, Marilyn Harper and Mary Clossey. Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service in celebration of Beverly’s Life at Grove Hill Cemetery, 290 Main Street (Rte.#20) Waltham on Tuesday July 17th at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers expression of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon St, Newton, MA 02468. The Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels of WALTHAM assisted the family with arrangements.
