SOOHO, Eva Chin of Newton, passed away Wednesday, April 19th, after a brief illness. She was in the comfort of her home, with her beloved husband Louis near her at the time of her peaceful passing. Eva was born in 1922 in Boston, MA and came from a family with 10 siblings. Eva worked for 32 years at Legal Sea Foods in Chestnut Hill and retired at age 91. Eva enjoyed the many friends she had at Legal. But, above all, Eva was happiest spending time with her husband of 70 years and her cherished children, Sharyn Sooho and Rick Hamilton, Alan Sooho, Liz Sooho Peirce and Rob Peirce, and Pauline and Jimmy Chen. She was the most wonderful sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who showed all of us how to live a life well spent. Visitation 9:30-11:00 am, Saturday, April 22, Brasco Memorial Chapel, 773 Moody St, Waltham. Funeral procession from Chapel to Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain, for graveside service, Noon.
