Frances Connelly Obituary

Frances M. Connelly Of Waltham passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 86. Born and raised in Waltham to the late William and Emma (Breault) Connelly, she was a lifelong resident of Waltham. She was a 1949 graduate of Saint Mary's High School in Waltham. Ms. Connelly worked as the Supervisor of Data Processing for Raytheon in Waltham for over 40 years. In her spare time, Frances enjoyed to travel. She loved to go on cruises and spend time at different beaches. She especially loved to go to Cape Cod with all of her friends. She will be remembered as a loving and kind woman who loved to be with her family. She is survived by her loving sisters Stephanie Plumb and her husband James of WA, Patricia Lawton of Waltham, Barbara Connelly of Waltham, Jacqueline Aucoin of Shrewsbury, Virginia Dennison of Waltham, and Kathleen Hebert and her husband Reginald of Waltham, her devoted brother Robert Connelly and his wife Joanne of Waltham, and her sister-in-law Joan of Dracut. She is also survived by 38 nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul Connelly and sister-in-law of the late George Aucoin, and Robert Dennison. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Wednesday at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Frances' life at St. Mary 's Church, 145 School St., Waltham, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
