Susan Binnall Obituary

Of West Newton, passed away peacefully Saturday morning June 15th, 2019 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a long illness at the age of 69. Born on September 7, 1949 in Spokane, Washington; daughter of the late Harold and Yvonne (Taufer) Brown, Susan was raised in Spokane and moved to Newton, Massachusetts in 1969. She lived for a brief period of time in Waltham before moving back to West Newton. A graduate of John Rodgers High School in Spokane, Washington; Sue was employed as a Plant Manager with UPS for many years. She worked tirelessly as a Support Group Leader for Alpha-1 Foundation. In her spare time she volunteered at the Newton Senior Center. Sue enjoyed camping and traveling around the country in her R.V. She is survived by her beloved husband Thomas H. Binnall, her loving & devoted children Julie S. Foster of Summerville, SC., and John W. Foster Jr. and his wife Christine of Londonderry, NH, her step-children Thomas W. Binnall of Newton and Robert J. Binnall and his wife Alex of Newton, her cherished grandchildren Hailey Sue Binnall, Kyle Brien Binnall, Lauren Noel Binnall, Brynn C. Foster, Griffin R. Foster, Gavin W. Foster, Robert D. Binnall and Tyler J. Binnall, and her dear siblings Beverly (Roy) Powell; Victor Brown. In addition she is survived by many nieces and nephews. Wife of the late John W. Foster Sr., sister of the late George, Harold and Tim Brown and sister -in-law of the late Jerine and Charlyne. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Susan’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday morning June 18th at 11:00 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on Monday June 17th from 4 – 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Susan’s memory to the Alpha-1 Foundation 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Coral Gables, Florida 33134.
