Obituary for Agnes Marie Barry

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 for Mrs. Agnes Marie Barry, R.N. Mrs. Barry was born in Boston a daughter of the late Paul J. and Matilda (Doucette) Conners. She grew up in Watertown, graduating from Watertown High School and had been a Watertown resident for 30 years. She was a graduate of the Mount Auburn Hospital School of Nursing and was later employed as a Registered Nurse for 10 years. She later worked at Newton-Wellesley for 25 years. Mrs. Barry had been a resident of Auburndale for the past 45 years. She enjoyed knitting and crafts and was an avid Red Sox Fan, but her greatest love was that for her family and grandchildren. She died on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital at the age of 74.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walter R. Barry, Jr. and her children: Kathleen M. Hart and her husband Robert of Sutton, Patricia A. Barry of Londonderry, NH,, Elaine M. D??Ercole and her husband David of Framingham, Walter R. Barry, III and his wife Delia of Derby Line, VT, Christine M. Hernon and her husband Michael of Mansfield, Susan M. Cannon and her husband Robert of Beverly, Nancy M. DeRosa and her husband Thomas of Brighton, Elizabeth A. Villani and her husband Kevin of Waltham, Michelle A. Walsh and her husband Keith of Strafford, VT, and Mark J. Barry and his wife Marnie of Fairfax, VT. She was also survived by 18 grandchildren and her sisters: Helen McLaughlin of Lawrenceville, GA and Betty Hill of Waltham. She was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Kelly and 2 brothers, Walter Conners and Bernard Conners.

Funeral Services will be held from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. on Rt. 20, WATERTOWN on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 O??Clock in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment St. Patrick??s Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 P.M.
