A Funeral Mass for Stephanie Marie (Cole) Allegro, 49, will be celebrated on Thursday, April 29, 2010, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
Mrs. Allegro was born in Needham and grew up in Hyde Park. She graduated from Girls Latin in Boston and attended Bentley College in Waltham. Mrs. Allegro, a Notary Public, was an Executive Administrator at Aegon/Transamerica Retirement Services of Needham and a former administrator at Quest Diagnostics in Cambridge.
She cherished her grandchildren, loved travelling, dining, sports, ceramics and crocheting. Her love for family and laughter was second to none. Mrs. Allegro died on Friday, April 23, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness.
She was the devoted wife of Roger Allegro; cherished daughter of Theodore “Ted” and Bernadette (Maxwell) Cole of Punta Gorda, Fla., formerly of Hyde Park; loving stepmother of Angela Hackett and her husband James of Tequesta, Fla. and Christopher Allegro and his wife Amy of Shelton, Conn.; dear sister of Theodore M. Cole of Norton, Sandra Roscia and her husband Patrick of Canton, Bernadette “Denise” Sullivan of Dedham, Susan Byrne and her husband Stephen of South Boston, Kathleen Gundacker and John Tulipano of Morrisville, No. Car., and Geraldine Johnson and her husband Donald of Walpole; and loving grandmother to Aidan Hackett, Nolan Hackett and Sophia Allegro. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., on Rte. 20, Watertown, on Thursday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 o’clock in the Church of Saint Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown. Interment will be private.
Memorial visiting hours will be on Wednesday, Aril 28th from 4-7 PM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home on Main Street. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.
