Duane Kilbourn

In loving memory, my husband, Duane Kilbourn, 80, of Battle Creek, MI died November 21, 2019 peacefully at home. Duane was born in Pontiac, MI to Wesley C. and Virginia Kilbourn. He graduated from Springfield High School. After high school, he served three years in the United States Air Force National Guard as a Communication Specialist. He then went on to become a Journeyman Electrician. Throughout his life, he worked for Post, Fisher Body, and the Kellogg Company where he retired from after 29 years of dedicated service. He was also a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club. Duane loved doing things for others in his retirement. He loved to travel, spending winters in Arizona and was always willing to tackle any fix-it problems for family and friends. He also enjoyed playing a round of golf and shortwave radio. He is survived by the love of his life, Teri Kilbourn of 36 years; children, Cherly Button of Holland, MI, Connie Marie Napier and her husband John of Pleasant Lake, MI, Carolyn Collins and her husband Robert of Greenville, SC, Michael Kilbourn of Battle Creek, MI, Greg Bosch of Parchment, MI, and Jackie Reimer of Battle Creek, MI; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was loved by many, and he will see you in Heaven. In accordance with Duane's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
