Cindy Lyn Aho Calumet Cindy Lyn Aho, 56, of Calumet, passed away at home surrounded by her family on April 20, 2021 after a six month courageous battle with lung cancer. Cindy was born in Laurium to Frederick and Carolyn (Harju) Palosaari on October 10, 1964. She attended and graduated from Calumet High School. Cindy married Aaron Aho in 1992, together they celebrated 29 years of marriage and raised their three sons. Cindy helped and cared for the boys tremendously throughout their lives and through schooling. She enjoyed going to their school activities and helping with homework. She loved caring for all the family dogs Bear, Beau, Shadow, and Blu. She enjoyed painting and cleaning for family and friends. She was a hard worker. She also enjoyed keeping the house clean and in order. Most of all, she really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Cindy was the most loving and caring person with the biggest heart. She always had the brightest smile with an everlasting impact on everyone. She always put others before herself. Her presence made life more enjoyable. She will always be loved and celebrated, never forgotten and forever in our hearts. Cindy is survived by her husband Aaron Aho of Calumet, Her sons Christopher Aho, Andrew Aho, and Joshua LaCasse all of Calumet, her niece/god daughter Danielle Bailey, her 7 grandkids, her parents Fred and Carolyn Palosaari of Calumet, her mother-in-law Donna Aho of Calumet, her brothers Clyde (Kelly) Palosaari, Ken (Michelle) Palosaari, Jack Palosaari, Kurt Palosaari and sister Amy Sue Bailey all of Calumet, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cindy’s graveside service will be Friday, April 30, 2021 at Lake View Cemetery Online condolences for the family may be left at www.ericksoncrowleypeterson.com The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet is assisting the family with the arrangements.
