Karen E Sirvio Calumet Karen E Sirvio, 86, of Calumet, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the Lighthouse of Hancock. Karen was born on November 1, 1933, in Detroit, Mi to the late Howard and Eleanor (Larson) Aho. As a child, they moved to Calumet and she attended the local schools. She was married to Robert Sirvio on July 23, 1960 at the Community Church in Calumet. Karen worked as a Pharmacy Clerk at Leo’s Drug Store. She cherished her job at the pharmacy and will be remembered by many customers. She enjoyed gardening, loved to go on picnics with her kids, she was very well read because she loved reading. She loved her family and time spent with them. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Eleanor ( Larson) Aho, Daughter Cathryn Marie.. Sirvio, and brothers James Aho and John Aho. She is survived by her husband Robert Sirvio of Calumet, Daughters Denise (Greg) Maronen of Calumet Waterworks, Sandra (Glenn) Kivela of Ishpeming, JoAnn (Michael) McDonnell of Negaunee, Granddaughter Macy Jo McDonnell of Florence, Wi, Sisters Claire Kolmonen of Calumet, Phyllis Hereford of Ishpeming And several nieces, nephews and cousins.
