Robert Persails

Robert “Bob” Persails, 74, of Tekonsha, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Residence in Battle Creek. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 12 Noon at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Robert was born October 24, 1939 in Union City, MI to Carl & Ruby (Tule) Persails. He married Loretta J. (Gaylor) Rose on April 13, 1989 in Ohio. Bob worked at Eaton Corporation in Marshall for 38 years, retiring in 1999. He was a former member of the Eagles in Battle Creek and belonged to the NRA. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, reading and traveling. Bob is survived by his wife Loretta, his son Cary (Sharon) Rose of Florida, his daughters Karen Persails of Gainsville, GA, Vicki Marriott of Battle Creek, his brother Harold (Marcia) Persails of Flint, his sisters Sue Persails of Flint, Janice (Fred) Rivera of Albuquerque, New Mexico, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Persails and his sister Diane Persails. Memorials may be directed to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice residence or Make-A-Wish Foundation. www.dutcherfh.com.
