Joseph Fiedorowicz

FIEDOROWICZ – Joseph “Joe” Fiedorowicz, age 65, of Comstock Park, went to meet his maker, Jesus Christ, with his family at his side on Friday, February 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dolores Fiedorowicz; sister, Theresa VanderWel; in-laws, Milton Payne, Clara Payne, Susan Murray, Bonnie Peuler, and Lolly Payne. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Beth Fiedorowicz (Payne); children, Holly Long and Megan (Scott) TerBeek; grandchildren, Logan, Lindsey, Kenzie, and Harper; in-laws, Darrell VanderWel, Dave (Barb) Payne, and Mary (Ken) Duncan; aunt, Isabel Metty; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Joe was a faithful employee at Keebler-Kellogg for 32 years before his retirement where he worked as a maintenance mechanic. More recently, he worked for Alpine Township as a maintenance worker where he was praised for being meticulous. Joe was a good person and a hard worker. His “happy place” was sitting around the bonfire at the family’s cabin in Baldwin. Joe was a proud, lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting with friends up north. He also enjoyed his golf cart and his child-sized Hummer for the grandkids to ride around in. Joe was always working on maintaining his grass and working on his many projects. The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The celebration of Joe’s life will follow at Beuschel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Tommy Boutell of Marne United Methodist Church as celebrant. In memory of Joe, please consider contributions to Marne United Methodist Church or to Mercy Health’s Lacks Cancer Center.
