Tammy Nellum was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 26, 1960 to the parents of Theophilus and Savannah Morgan both of whom have preceded her in death. Tammy received an formal education through the Detroit Public School System, Longfellow and Central High. Tammy was given the honor to braid Stevie Wonders Hair because of her outstanding ability with her hands. Tammy began her family early, starting with two boys and later with three girls. Tammy was trained in Cosmetology. Years later she received her licenses as an Cosmetologist. Soon afterwards she landed a job both at Montgomery Wards and Sears beauty departments. After receiving her GED Tammy enrolled into WCCC and went on to receive an Associate Arts Degree in Teaching. She eventually was hired by DPS to work as a Para-Pro at Charles R. Drew Transitional Center for Young Adulds and Tammy really loved her job. Tammy received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in her late teens. For the last six years Tammy worshipped the Lord at King of Kings international located in Taylor Michigan. Tammy was very dedicated as an usher in one of the leader roles, She always stated that she loved her Bishop. Tammy had a Passion for interior home decorating and also loved the outdoors and called herself a "Dirt Girl". Tammy fought for her life for sixteen days at St. Johns Providence Hospital On January 20 Tammy saw the Hands of the Lord open to receive her, she then gave up her spirit. Tammy leaves to cherish her memories: Five loving children: Theophilus , Tadjie, Tamara, Tanmarie, and Angela. Eight grandchildren: Theophilus II , Mya, Khalil, Raymel, Jaymien, Andrew, TeAsia, and Breydan. Plus a host of loving family, dear friends, her co-workers and the King of Kings family.
