We mourn the passing of Willienell (Jackson) Chaney, 92, of Southfield, MI, who died peacefully on May 12, 2020, after a long and rewarding life. Willienell was born in Detroit, MI, to Marion and Clara Jackson. Preceded in death by her parents, older brother, Marion, Jr, sister, Anita Crenshaw, brother, Norman Jackson, and husband of 45 years, Jerry A. Chaney. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Yvonne Brown, and daughter & son-in-law, Michele & Earl Cole, Jr., who were her loving & devoted caregivers. She was the grandmother of six, great-grandmother of six and great-great grandmother of three. She is survived by her sister, Ann Hurse, brother, John Anthony Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Public Visitation, Wednesday, May 20, 2020, 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at James H. Cole Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 16100 Schaefer, Detroit, MI. Private Graveside Service, Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, 19975 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI.
