Benny “Ben” Edward Honeycutt – age 62 passed away on September 13, 2019. Ben was born in Harlan, Kentucky to Benjamin and Ellie (Strunk) Honeycutt on December 26, 1956. Ben married Pamela Stickley on June 16, 1979 in Farmington Hills, MI. Ben worked for the Michigan Department of Transportation and was known as a jack of all trades by many. He was an avid reader, football fan and movie buff. His interest in history led to involvement in civil war reenactments. He also acted in plays and dramas. He will be remembered as a “Master Thespian”, but his greatest pride and joy came from being Papa to his 9 wonderful grandchildren.<br><br>Ben will be missed by all those whom survive him, including his wife, Pamela Susan Honeycutt; Six children: Andrew (Julie) Honeycutt of Livonia, Larissa (Jesse) Johnson of Indianapolis, IN, Benjamin Honeycutt of Westland, Ethan (Jade) Honeycutt of Lake, William Honeycutt of Lake, and Olivia Honeycutt of Lake; Nine grandkids: Andrew Jonathan ll 14, Kindred Spirit 13, Ever After 9, Jubilee Belle 5, Fable Sweetheart 4, Ballad Darling 4, Whistler Valentine 4, Samuel Edward 3, Elliot Ebenezer 1; Two brothers: David Russell Honeycutt of Detroit, Timothy Harrison (Susan) Honeycutt of Redford; and a sister-in-law, Tracy Lyn Stickley of Beaverton.<br><br>A funeral service is planned for Wednesday, September 18, at 12:00 PM at the Colonville Bible Church with Pastor Justin Myers officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. Final disposition will take place at Garfield Township cemetery.
