Herta Stenger

Herta Stenger- age 95 passed peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017. Herta was born on November 25, 1921 in Looz, Poland, to parents Gustav and Agnes (Lehman) Renn. She was married on June 24, 1946 in East Germany to Adam Stenger. They raised three children and Herta worked as a seamstress in Germany. She enjoyed, making a home for her family, knitting, crocheting, reading and word search puzzles. She is survived by her son Manfred of Lake, two daughters; Sylvia Stenger of Saginaw, Ursula Cooper of Saginaw, granddaughter Lisa Hodges and husband Louis, Jr., three great-grandchildren; Christal, Laura, and Justin, five great-great-grandchildren; Marleigh, Carter, Benjamin, Jr., Allanna, Eliana, and a nephew Udo Adam of Crayford Kent, England. She was preceded in death by her husband Adam in 2015, and a sister Erna, and grandson Paul Cooper. A memorial service is planned for Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1PM at the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell. Pastor Bill Twynham will officiate.
