"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1:8-9 KJV
Pastor Ray was born on August 28, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Dorman and Ava (Sublet) Ray Sr. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Katherine Milioni, on December 3, 1971 at Temple Baptist church of Redford, Michigan. Pastor Ray dedicated his life to the Lord and was a good and faithful servant, serving over six decades in ministry. He spread the word and especially enjoyed hospital visits with others. Pastor Ray was an avid reader who enjoyed history. He also enjoyed a good Tigers baseball game.
