Obituary for Frank Archer

Frank Archer, age 53 of Holland, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Hospice House of Holland with his family by his side.

Frank grew up in Muskegon, graduated from Muskegon High School, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University. He worked as an operations supervisor for Lifesaver’s, and for the past 12 years for Perrigo in the Customer Service department. Frank was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He also volunteered for the Ottawa County Mental Health Help line for many years. He was a true family man, and loved attending sporting events for his twin daughters. Frank lived life to the fullest, and left this earth with no regrets.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Archer, a nephew, Nicholas Archer, an infant twin brother, Floyd Archer, and a sister-in-law, Brenda Archer.

Surviving are his wife of 22 years, LeeAnne of Holland; twin daughters, Madison Anne and Alexandra Joy, both at home; Mother, Ruth Archer of Muskegon; brother, Nick Archer of Muskegon; and Father and Mother-in-law, Ron and Jan Herder, of Kalamazoo, brother-in-law, Todd Herder of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Friday, December 6, 2013 at Parkside Bible Church, 14461 James St., Holland. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Renberg.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 5 from 5-8:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland; and from 12-1pm prior to the service on Friday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Andel Institute c/o West Ottawa High School Purple Power Event.
