Gordon J. De Jonge, age 80, of Borculo went to be with his Lord Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Hospice House of Holland.
Gord was a member of Borculo Christian Reformed Church where he served as a deacon and elder. He was self-employed for many years and later retired from Lamar Construction. He enjoyed volunteering for CRWRC, His Hands and Bibles for Mexico. Gord loved his family and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Hermina (Mike) and children:

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Borculo Christian Reformed Church 6464 96th Avenue. Reverend Bill Renkema will be officiating. Burial will be in Borculo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Monday, September 29, 2008 at Lakeshore Memorial Services 11939 James Street in Holland. Memorial contributions may be given to Bibles for Mexico and Borculo Christian School. An on-line registry book is available at www.lakeshorememorial.com for those who cannot attend the services.
