Dale & Linda, you both have my deepest sympathy, but what a joy to know she was able to be in Heaven during Easter. Linda, I never met your Mother, but I see you in her smile. Your Mom & my Mom were both born in 1929 during the depression. Dale, what a beautiful tribute to your Mother-in-Law. It sounds like she lived a Proverbs 31 life. What a legacy she leaves behind in her children & grandchildren & all who knew her. Blessings to all.

Susan and Family,
My sincere condolences to you during your time of bereavement. May God bless and keep you, and may His light shine upon your hearts, where I know your mother is kept.

My Tribute to Marjorie Smith:
I had the privilege of knowing her in the role of mother-in-law. I've often said that I may laugh at jokes about troublesome mothers-in-law because the joke is clever but never because I could identify in any way.
Mom Smith was a wonderful person. I very much admired her warm out-going personality. I admired her in her role as a wife in a very warm, loving, and lasting marriage. I am grateful for the way she modeled how to live to her daughter, Linda, my wife, and thereby made a contribution toward Linda and I having a warm, loving, and enduring marriage.
From my first conversation with her and her husband, Bob, it was clear to me that they were sincere, dedicated followers of Jesus Christ. They were always interested in and supportive of me in Christian ministry.
I am also so very grateful to the way they welcomed us, their other children, and eventually grandchildren and great grandchildren to summer days at their Fremont cottage. I will miss Mom Smith very much. I am so glad for knowing that she still lives, lives in heaven, and someday I will enjoy her company again
I am so glad I was able to meet Marjorie and be a part of her life. It was such a pleasure to take care of her. She always spoke great words of encouragement to me and kept pushing me to reach my goals. She was a great woman and raised such wonderful daughters and an amazing son who I had the pleasure of spending time with. We all know she is in a better place and I only wish peace within the family.
