Obituary for Paul W. Dozeman

Paul W. Dozeman, age 66, of Hudsonville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 following a six-week battle with leukemia.

Paul was born in Zeeland to Alfred and Nora Dozeman and served his country in the Army Reserves. He was employed in the banking industry for 30 years and most recently was the founder of City Restoration Ministries. Paul had a passion for prayer and community outreach. He was a member of Fairway Christian Reformed Church and was a past council member. Paul was also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Christian Reformed Church and a member of many other committees.

He is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Joy and children:
Karen and Bill Bruinsma of Kentwood
Russ and Jill Dozeman of Bradenton FL
Michael and Susan Dozeman of Zeeland
9 Grandchildren:
Kevin, Kyle, Brittany, Megan, Luke, Troy, Laura, Melissa, Hannah
Sister and brother:
Mary Camp of Springfield IL
Bryan and Patricia Dozeman of Rochester Hills
Brother and sister in Law
Garth and Myra Bonselaar of Holland
Several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins

We mourn his passing but do not grieve as those without hope because of the Risen Lord.

A memorial celebration will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2006 at Fairway Christian Reformed Church 1165-44th Street in Jenison. Reverend David Den Haan will be officiating. A private family burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery with Rev. David Bonselaar officiating.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at Lakeshore Memorial Services 11939 James Street in Holland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairway CRC " Future Prayer Room 1165-44th Street Jenison MI 49428.
