Wayne O. Warner

Iron Mountain- Wayne O. Warner, 72, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, Mich. He was born on July 10, 1948, in Wayne County, Mich., son of the late Donald and Madeline (Degiorgio) Warner. Wayne grew up in Birmingham, Mich. He was united in marriage to Stella Komar on February 14, 1985, in Detroit, Mich. Following marriage, they lived in Detroit, where he worked at U Haul rental for five years before moving to Iron Mountain in 1985. Wayne owned and operator Pro Kleen, Kingsford, Mich. from 1985 until 2015. Wayne also owned and operated Smokey River Outfitters Quinnesec, Mich. for eight years, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting with the bow and rifle, fishing, golfing, country dancing, his speed boat, sailing; and was especially proud of his car collection and toured many car shows. He will be missed by his family and numerous friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Stella Warner; one son, Ronald (Amy) Pratt, Iron Mountain, Mich.; three daughters, Michelle (Jim) Cayer, Escanaba, Mich., Nicole (Chad) Wocelka, Crivitz, Wis., and Jennifer (Rob) Knauf, Bark River, Mich.; one brother, Donald (Jacky) Warner, Rochester Hills, Mich.; one sister, Dona (Larry) Ridenour, Oxford, Mich., and their daughter, Laurie (Jeff) Vitale, Rochester Hills, Mich.; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Per Wayne’s wishes and do to Covid, as well as the safety of our family and yours, we will gather on Friday, December 11, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain where a funeral procession will leave immediately and pass a few of Wayne’s special places. The procession will end at his home on the eastside of Iron Mountain. You may leave a condolence or tribute for Wayne’s family online at www.JacobsFuneralHomes.com.
