Mikala Linn Raven

<p>Mikala Linn Raven, 30, of Ludington, passed away on March 27, 2017.</p><p><br></p><p>Mikala was born November 29, 1986, the daughter of Chris and Vickie (Smith) Raven. She graduated from Ludington High School in 2005 and attended Grand Valley State University. Mikala had a soft spot in her heart for animals and was working toward becoming a Veterinary Technician. She was always kind and thoughtful, and worried more about other’s than herself. </p><p><br></p><p>Mikala was close to her family, especially proud of her little sister, Meisha. Mikala could often be found at the lake, playing basketball or volleyball, or snuggling with her two kitties, Dolce and Ella.</p><p><br></p><p>Mikala’s beautiful smile and compassionate heart will be missed by those who survive her: parents, Chris and Vickie Raven; sister, Meisha (Aaron) Haller; grandparents, E. Dean and Marilyn Raven, and Robert and Carol Smith; uncles, Mark (Taryn) Raven and Robert (Nancy) Smith, Jr.; aunts, Marcia Raven and Lori (Brad) Bachelder; and numerous cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 5:00 pm at United Methodist Church of Ludington, with visitation starting at 3:30 pm.
