Albert Medarno Muniz was born in Carrollton Township, Michigan on March 16, 1926. He was one of nine children born from the union of the late Jesus and Mary (Medarno) Muniz.
Albert married the former Donna Dombrowski and from this union came the birth of eight children. In 1975, the family moved from Detroit to Newport before later settling in Monroe. Albert believed in living his life as an example to others. He was passionate about the value of hard work and he thought a man needed to hustle to make his own way.
