Dana Andrew Queen was born in Dearborn, Michigan on September 9, 1967. He was the son of Donald Irvin Queen Sr. and the late Delores (Bergum) Queen. Dana attended Ecorse High School. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Dana married the former Laura Bolton, on March 13, 1987. The young family moved to the Monroe area in 1988. Dana cherished the time he spent with his family.
Dana loved the outdoors. For more than fifteen years, he worked in property maintenance. He was self-employed as a landscaper, but was forced to take a medical retirement after many years of battling health issues. Dana was a jack of all trades. He often used his talents to fix things and enjoyed “tinkering around.” Dana also loved to take long walks and ride his bicycle.
