December 8, 1930 – June 18, 2015
Frank Valicenti was born in Monroe on December 8, 1930. He was one of four children born from the union of the late Dominic Valicenti and the late Jennie (Lavoria) Valicenti. Frank graduated from Monroe High School in 1949 and attended RETS Technical Center receiving his Electrican Certificate. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

He was a hard worker and supported his family as an Electrician employed at Chrysler, taking retirement in 1994. On October 4, 2003, Frank married the former Shirley Randall Parker at the First Apostolic Church in Sylvania, Ohio.
Frank was quite the jokester, continuously putting a smile on someone’s face. He was known to be a “thrifty” man, always looking for the next bargain. Frank appreciated the outdoors on his many road trips, whether it was taking the family camping or just going for a drive. He was man of many talents. He sang and played the piano, used his creativity woodworking and liked to tinker around on old cars to sell them.
Frank loved his family dearly. Over the years, he enjoyed the many family occasions where he was able to make his famous homemade pizza with its special sauce and loved to take his children and grandchildren to Independent Dairy for ice cream.
