Obituary for Harvey Hancock

Harvey Hancock was born in Monroe on August 8, 1941. He was one of six children born from the union of the late William Walter and the late Shirley Elizabeth (Uncapher) Hancock. Lee was a 1959 graduate of Monroe High School.
Lee supported his family employed as a Grocer at Fred W. Meijers, a Cashier at Hoffman’s Grocery, and an Assistant Manager at Sam Mignano’s East Side Store for sixteen years.
Although Lee kept to himself mostly, he was known for his great sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. Lee enjoyed his family. He was a wonderful brother and uncle. Appreciating the palate, Lee took pride cooking for his friends and family and creating many different spicy cuisines.
