Obituary for James Allen Rehahn

James Allen Rehahn was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on February 25, 1946. He was one of six children born from the union of the late George and Bertina (Burrell) Rehahn. James enlisted in the United States Army and served his country honorably.

He was married to the love of his life the former Josephine Anderson from 1972 until 1992. They parted ways but were reunited later in life and rejoined in marriage on July 20, 2002 in Monroe, Michigan.

For many years, James drove semi-trucks to support his family. The last three years he was employed by KC Transportation in Carleton. He took a medical retirement in 2008. James gave of himself as a volunteer firefighter for Frenchtown Charter Township.

James was a proud father and papa. He enjoyed sharing his time with his grandchildren and loved to take them boating. He enjoyed tinkering on almost anything but often had a lawn mower to work on. James enjoyed good food, his munchies, and of course McDonald’s coffee. He was an avid NASCAR fan following the likes of driver Carl Edwards. In his free time he could be found catching an episode of NCIS or Cops.
