Judy Ellen Pridemore
September 8, 1948 – November 17, 2012
Judy Ellen Pridemore was born on September 8, 1948 in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of six children born from the union of the late Daniel Cain and the late Goldie (Walker) Cain. Judy was saved and baptized at Franklin Street Church of God. She attended Lincoln School and Monroe High School.
She married the love of her life: Kenneth Pridemore in January of 1965. Judy was a faithful and devout Christian. She knew scripture well and could quote it on demand. Judy was a homemaker although she served her family as a nurse, psychologist, and was in charge of the “complaint department”. Judy was known to be straightforward, dependable, and loyal. She loved conversation and especially a little juicy gossip.
She had a great sense of humor and could always give you a good laugh. Judy loved baseball, was an avid Tigers fan, and enjoyed a bag of peanuts. She appreciated reading a good book, liked listening to music, and loved to crochet, often making ponchos for her family and friends. Judy’s family raved about her cooking and her love for holidays.
