William T. Beltinck

William T. Beltinck, age 91, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, October 24th, 2020, with his family by his side. A Funeral Mass for William will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, October 30, at 11 a.m. with Father Don Henkes and Deacon Larry Fussman co-officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Rite of Committal will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Isabella Seniors. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. William was born in Mt. Pleasant, on February 11th, 1929, one of fourteen children, to Ona and Mary (Allen) Beltinck. William attended Sacred Heart Academy before proudly serving his country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for seven years. He married Wenonah Block on February 11, 1950. William worked for the Mt. Pleasant United States Postal Service and as a rural mail carrier in Rosebush for 30 years. After retiring from USPS, he sold real estate at Century 21 in Mt. Pleasant. He also enjoyed baseball, coaching a boys Colt League team to the national finals in California. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish of Mt. Pleasant, the American Legion, and the Moose Lodge. William is survived by his daughters, Victoria (Kevin) Rogers of Clare and Denise (Ronney) Morey of Mt. Pleasant; daughters-in-law, Lizabeth Forrest of Shelby Township and Susan Beltinck of Rosebush; son-in-law, Thomas Sheredy of Clare; 14 grandchildren, Alissa (Mark) Haynak, Stephanie Beltinck, Elizabeth (Butch) TerHarr, Andrea (David) Porter, Steven (Johnara) Carpenter, Max (Michelle) Morey, Benjamin (Emily) Beltinck, Jennifer (Jason) Germain, Matthew Burden, Nicole (Sam) Castillo, Brooklyn Castillo, Luke Beltinck, Jesse Beltinck, and Moriyah Beltinck; 21 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan Thielen of Mt. Pleasant; William was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Wenonah, on July 14th, 2016; daughter, Therese (Fae) Sheredy; sons, John Beltinck and Scott Beltinck; sisters, Leona Buckley, Francis Ervin, Florence DeCamp, and Regina Britten; brothers Pete, Cecil, Joe, Ona, Bob, Edward, Eugene, and Thomas Beltinck.
