On a cold winter day, December 8, 1931, God blessed Katie Lee McGhee & Curtis Torrence with a beautiful baby girl they affectionately named, Margaret Margo Torrence.<br/><br/>Margo's journey began in Camden, Arkansas where she was born and raised and attended school. Margo later moved to Muskegon, Michigan where she started a family of her own and welcomed her only daughter into the world, Margo Wilson-Williams. Margo's greatest joy was her family. She loved cooking a huge feast for family and friends and enjoyed solving word puzzles with her grandchildren.<br/><br/>Margo loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Corinthian's Baptist Church, where she served faithfully under the leadership of Clarence Guy Sr. for over two decades. She was also a dedicated employee at Hackley Hospital for 24 years until she retired. <br/><br/>The world was graced with her presence for 88 years until God called her home on November 20, 2020. Margaret leaves to cherish her memories, one brother; Fred Torrence Jr.; one sister; Eddie Mae Means; four grandchildren; Clyde Wilson, Lareil Wilson, Hyrosha Wilson and Angelo Chandler. Margo was blessed with fifteen great-grand children and seven great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. <br/><br/>Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter; the late Rev. Margo Wilson-Williams; parents; Katie Lee McGhee and Curtis Torrence; two sisters; Janice Evans & Shirley Hunter and a lifelong friend; Pastor Willie Frank Wilson.<br/><br/>The Wilson family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many comforting messages, prayers, expressions of kindness and concern. Your labors of love have sustained us during this time of great loss.

Margo's journey began in Camden, Arkansas where she was born and raised and attended school. A viewing for Ms. Margaret Wilson will be held from 11am-12:30pm A private service for the family will be held directly after the viewing.
