Aloysius "Al" Anthony Hafner Westphalia Age 88, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Al was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westphalia, the Knights of Columbus, the V.F.W. Post #3733 Fowler, Pewamo, Westphalia and was veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen in 1997, 3 infant sons and several brothers. Surviving are his children Judy (Larry) Theis, Jane (Ron) Hensley, Tim (Diane) Hafner and Linda (William) Taylor; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eric Weber at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Military graveside honors will be provided by the V.F.W. Post #3733. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lehman Funeral Homes.
