Ann M. Tissue Ionia Age 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Laurels of Kent in Lowell. She was born on September 15, 1931 in Grand Ledge the daughter of Russell and Hazelle (Stackman) Sheere. She came to Ionia in December of 1964. She was married to Darwin Tissue on June 10, 1950 in East Lansing and he preceded her on November 3, 1993. The couple owned and operated the Midway Bar and Restaurant for 71/2 years. She was also a Bookkeeper at Fuller Furniture for 12 years before retiring in 1991. She was an active member of the Ionia Women of the Moose receiving 3 High Honors: Academy of Friendship, Bay City, College of Regents, Jacksonville, FL, and Star Recorder, Las Vegas, NV. She also served on the Audit Committee and was Ritual Director for 3 years. Ann is preceded in death by her parents and husband Darwin. She is survived by 1 son Greg (Kim) Tissue of Ionia, 2 daughters Linda (Ron) Claycomb of Belding, and Gail (Denny) White of Ionia, 8 grandchildren Hollie (John), Matt (Brandy), Derek (Melanie), Scott (Kelli), Bryant (Nikki), Todd, Tom (Julia), and Tina, 7 great-grandchildren, and brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Loretta Sheere of Athens, New York. She will be sadly missed by her loving family. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
