Anne L. Rademacher Portland Age 56, loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away on September 20, 2011 after a 6 month battle with leukemia. She was born on July 1, 1955 the daughter of John and Josephine (Myers) Reust. She graduated from DeWitt High School in 1973. Anne was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland and was on the welcoming committee. She enjoyed researching geneolgy, family history and was the past President of the Portland Historical Society. Anne enjoyed golfing and bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul "Pinky" Rademacher; brother, Richard Reust; family friend, Arlene Hart. Surviving are her children Tracy Rademacher of Portland and Aaron (Elizabeth) Rademacher of Laingsburg; twin granddaughters Laura and Kaitlyn; siblings Thomas (Michelle) Reust of DeWitt, Douglas (Patricia) Reust of Australia, Catherine Reust of Lansing and Robert (Karen) Reust of St. Johns; brother-in-law, Robert (Mary) Rademacher; sister-in-law, Marie (fiance, Ed Ferguson) Cooper; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m., Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The rosary will prayed at 8 p.m., Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Fr. Flohe Association or Christian Foundation of Children and Aging in memory of Anne.
