Anthony "Tony" Klein Obituary

Anthony L. "Tony" Klein Westphalia, MI Age 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. He was born on January 24, 1929 in Clinton County, MI the son of Louis and Dora (Fedewa) Klein. Tony was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in Co A 17th Infantry 7th Division from December 8, 1952 to December 8, 1954. He worked for Irrer Bros. farm for many years, retiring in 1996. Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Louis (Louise), Rich (Gladys), Herman, and Leo (Phyllis) Klein; sisters-in-law, Therese Klein and Janet Klein. Surviving are his brothers, Stan, Clarence and Mark (Kay) Klein; sisters, Rose (Stan) Schafer, Mary Ann (Ed) George and Helen (Rich) Schneider; sister-in-law, Alice Klein; many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia, with Rev. Eric Weber presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia, with Military Honors provided by the Fowler Westphalia Pewamo V.F.W. Post #3733. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. Rosaries will be prayed at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland. On line condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
