Beatrice I. Swift Ionia Age 93, went to be with her Lord peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2017. She was born on June 20, 1923 the daughter of Clyde and Frances (Crawford) Ellsworth. Beatrice was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Ionia, she was involved with the Awana Club working with children and taught Sunday School for many years. She owned and operated her own beauty salon and worked at Meijer for several years. Beatrice enjoyed traveling, camping and attending bible camps in Eagle River, MI. Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, Vernon, Russell, Ben and William Ellsworth. Surviving are husband of 70 years, Versil; children, Marlene (Bob) Henry, Michael Swift and Melanie (Jim) Kimble; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Maryann Palmeter and Arlene Pickney. Religious Services will be conducted by Pastor Brian Rahn at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church, 1979 S. State Rd., Ionia. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia.
