Beulah Brandt Obituary

Age 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2004. She was born on December 16, 1917 in Colon, MI the daughter of Melvin and Flora (Lance) Dehoff. Mrs. Brandt married Frank H. Brandt on April 25, 1936 in Lake Odessa, MI and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Brandt; foster son, Jerry Vogt; daughter-in-law Shirley Brandt; great grandson, Steven Ball; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Surviving are 4 sons: Roy (Janice) Brandt of Belding, Leon Brandt of Saranac, Melvin (Judy) Brandt of Grand Rapids, and Raymond Brandt of Saugatuk; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mary Barnhart, Erma Hoard, Marjorie Kinyon, and Flossie Soper; several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger, Pastor of Shiloh Community Church at 11 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2004 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia with interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of One's Choice in memory of Beulah M. Brandt.
