Beulah Hill
Beulah G. Hill Ionia Age 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2007. She was born on November 4, 1920 in Ionia, Michigan the daughter of William and Maude (Beach) Hoople. Beulah was born and raised in Ionia and lived there all of her life. She was a caregiver and homemaker always looking out for everyone's needs who took great pride in her home and her family. Beulah is preceded in death by a brother and 5 sisters. On June 29, 1940 she married Joseph L. Hill and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2002. Surviving her are 2 daughters, C.J. (Hill)(Paul) Karuntzos of Pleasanton, California and Carolyn "Skeet" (Terry L.) Slocum of Greenville; 3 sons, Joseph G. (Deb) Hill of Amanda, Ohio, James L. (Linda) Hill of Ionia, and Jeffrey W. (Deb) Hill of Lowell; 4 grandchildren, Terry Slocum II, Scott Slocum, Heather Hill, and Jason Hill; sister, Valeta Redemsky of Lakeland, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Melvin Fox, Pastor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia from 5-7:30 p.m. Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday.
