Bonnie S. Peabody Portland, MI Passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Sensations Memory Care Center in Charlotte, MI, at the age of 78. She was a member of the Portland United Methodist Church, and retired from the State of Michigan Department of Education. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Gerald Peabody; daughters, Ronda (James) Townsend, and Karen Collins; son, Brian Peabody; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Carl) Hartenburg, and Connie Mida; brother, William (Jean) Northrop; sister-in-law, Marion Pieczewski; brother-in-law, Robert (Janet) Peabody. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Portland United Methodist Church, with Pastor Keith Treman presiding.
