Age 6, passed away on Monday June 9, 2003.  He was born on April 6, 1997 in Lansing, MI the son of Dean and Pamela (Morse) Thelen.  He was in kindergarten at St. Patrick's.  He loved being outdoors, had a love for his sisters, enjoyed making people smile and laugh with his special sense of humor.  Surviving are his parents; sisters Kaila and Brittany; grandparents Steve and Sharon Morse of Warren, Dave and Denise Cushion of Dewitt, and Jim Thelen of Fowler; aunts Bethany (Derek) Gemmen, Kim (Mike) Beggs, Kim (Scott) Smith, Kris Thelen, Jamie Thelen; uncles Steve (Kris) Morse and Mike Cushion; great grandmothers Winnie Thelen, Geneieve (Jerome) Thelen, Bernice Thompson, and Violet Morse; many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by the Rev. Shamaun Beas, Associate Pastor at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2003 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Portland, with Rite of Committal at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Westphalia.  The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday.  A rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family where a contribution will be selected at a later date.  On line condolences may be made at www.schraubenlehman.com.
