Carl H. Noren Portland, MI Age 79, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the company of his remaining family. He was born on November 6, 1934 in Lansing, MI the son of Carl and Clara (Fenby) Noren. Carl enjoyed spending time with and helping his friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Shirley; sons, Ken and Karl. Surviving are his children, Kevin (Laura) Noren, Kim Noren, and Kirk (Gail) Noren; grandchildren, Taylor, Katherine and Jake; sisters, Jean Ellen O'Bannon, Alice Hoppes, and Jill Smith. A Memorial Celebration will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2014 at the Grand River Conservation Club, 7220 Lyons Rd., Portland, MI 48875. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 S. Cochran, Charlotte, MI 48813, in memory of Carl.
