Pewamo Age 72, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 5, 2010. Carol was born on December 22, 1937 in Pewamo, the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Wohlscheid) Schneider. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved birds, crocheting, quilting, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She married LeVern McQueen and they shared a true successful love story together. Carol was the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother in the world. She was preceded in death by her parents and great grandaughter Olivia Ann Merrifield. Surviving are her husband, LeVern McQueen; children, Robert (Mary Ellen) McQueen, William (Bobbi Jo) McQueen, Cheryl (John) Root, Sheila McQueen (Tom Zeigler), Sharon Kay (Neal) Becker and LeVern Jay (Gwen) McQueen; grandchildren, Andrea, Kenny, Autumn, Katie, Savannah, Cheyenne, Brooklyn, Tara, Brian, Nathan, Zachary, Carol, Chelsea, Nicki, Nicole, Amber, Jonathan, Erica, Erin and Daniel; 21 great grandchildren, 8 sisters and 4 brothers. The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010 at the St. Mary Funeral Chapel, 210 N. Westphalia Street, Westphalia. The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. Monday, at St. Mary Funeral Chapel. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
