Charles G. Holman Portland, MI Age 90, passed away on April 20, 2016. He born on Jan. 3, 1926 in Northville to Joseph and Hattie Holman. Survived by his bride of 68 years, Marie Holman, son, Donald Holman and daughter, Denise Yeomans; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; Daughter, Debra Bannatz and son-in-laws, Ron Swehla and Allard Yeomans; Sisters, Leona Schomberger and Dorothy Clark; Brothers, John, Clarence, Joseph, Walter, and Robert Holman. Charles retired from Eberbach Corp. in Ann Arbor, MI as a shipping and receiving clerk. He served in the US Amry, Technician Third Grade Medical Detachment 5th Calvary Regiment as a Surgical Technician 861 and decorated with the WWII Victory Medal & Army of Occupation Medal.He loved working outdoors in his vegetable garden and flower gardens. He loved all animals and nature. He had a special bond with his dog, Romeo, and enjoyed their daily walks together to stop and visit with everyone he met along the way.
