Clare H. Cassel Portland Age 88, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016. He was born on September 3, 1927 in Portland the son of Oscar and Eva Cassel. Clare was a veteran of WWII who enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, fishing, hunting and golfing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna. Surviving are his children Mike (Tanell) Cassel, Gary (Teresa) Cassel, Robert Cassel, Julie (Marvin) Droste, Cheryl Breusch, Robin (Randy) Fazakerley, Scott (special friend, Kelly) Cassel, Candie Cassel and Cassie (Luke) Francis; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. The Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Marilyn V. Danielson at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
