Age 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2004. He was born on January 26, 1934 in Ionia, MI the son of Claude Elmer and Edith Pauline (Dreger) Bigsby. Mr. Bigsby loved to fish and was a great enthusiast of archery, receiving many marksmanship awards. He always had a smile on his face. Claud was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Christine in 1987; brother, Donald; sister, Dorothy. Surviving are his stepdaughters, Rachel Richardson of Florida and Carolyn Arnette of Belding; 6 step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; brother, Jack Bigsby of Arlington, TX; sister, Alma (Donald) Barr of Muir; 5 nieces and 3 nephews; many great nieces, nephews and friends; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stone. A Graveside Service will be conducted by the Rev. David W. Bogda, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Ionia at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Ionia.
